The service would typically incorporate the following components: Telephone supportThis provides for a remote second level facility accessed by the IT department, via telephone or email. This service could support communications, networking or application second level support needs. Ad-hoc onsite consultancyThis provides for complementary skillsets to be purchased on a daily rate basis typically for a specific initiative. Structured onsite consultancyThis provides for complementary skillsets to be purchased on either a daily rate or half-day rate basis, and would typically be purchased to support specific systems e.g.communications or networking. Out-taskingThis service provides for the management of a specific IT department function, for example the Helpdesk, and would provide for SoftControl taking full responsibility of operation against a custom Service Level Agreement.
