For Businesses with no IT DepartmentSoftControl caters for businesses with no internal IT department and aims to provide the facilities of a full IT department without the overhead. The service would typically incorporate the following components: Remote helpdeskThis provides for a remote helpdesk facility accessed by all IT users within the business via telephone or email. Users are able to receive first-level support through this service. Support IT managerThis provides for a dedicated IT Manager to be available. Typically the IT Manager would closely monitor all first-level calls logged via the helpdesk, to proactively manage recurring issues. The IT Manager would be available by phone, remote access to the network and on-site. On-site visits are typically pre-arranged for a specific day per month though in emergencies can also be made available at short notice. Drivers and benefits
